My creative, work process, began in 2021. It arose from a desire and need to talk about my stillbirth which I experienced in 2018. Do or Die, at present a temporary name, “al hachaim ve al hamavet” is an intimate work about my experience which shook my world and soul. It also speaks about women, strong women who give birth, women who lose pregnancies, women who support one another. The feeling of failure, the failing body, the lonely grief, the shame, the shame of grieving the unborn, for a long time. It speaks about women who move forward and grow from their experience. My desire is to raise awareness, develop a dialogue and share that which is often silenced and considered a taboo.
